We provide

a nurturing, stimulating, and fun-filled environment that inspires children to explore, learn, and grow.

At kindergarten, every day is an opportunity for your child to embark on a new adventure, make friends, and create lasting memories

Our Philosophy

At Ashburton Kindergartens, we believe that every child is unique and full of potential. Our philosophy centres around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to express themselves.

We focus on:

Child-Centred Learning

We prioritise the needs and interests of each child, tailoring our experiences to support their individual growth and development.

Play-Based Exploration

We understand that play is the foundation of learning. Our programs are designed to make learning fun and interactive, allowing children to discover new things through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.

Community and Connection

By working closely with whānau, we create a collaborative environment where children feel a sense of belonging and connection.

Our Programs

We base our programme on the Early Childhood curriculum Te Whariki, an inclusive approach to a child’s development.

Tamariki’s learning will be extended through individual programme plans, an educational environment and appropriate resources.
Your child’s progress will be recorded and shared with you.

Our Kaiako

All of our teachers are fully qualified. Each teacher brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm to our kindergartens. They are dedicated to creating a positive and inspiring learning experience for every child, fostering their love for learning and discovery.
