What makes Aubrey Mason Kindergarten a special place, is its enriching environment that embraces the diverse cultures within the community, making it warmly inclusive. Kaiako delight in providing equitable opportunities for all tamariki. Whanaungatanga and manaakitanga are important values that are at the core of our everyday mahi.

My favourite activity is listening to music and having a good laugh with family and friends.

Laura

Ashburton Kindergartens are doing everything for kids, but not for profit. Its close connection with parents, whānau and the community also make it special. I feel very blessed to join the amazing team to provide quality education to the tamariki.

I love gardening and enjoy creating a beautiful garden for my family. Gardening is not only a hobby for me, but also a great way of relaxing.

Connecting with the wonderful tamariki and whānau.

Greece! I dream of exploring the Greek islands during a hot Europe summer.

Sarah

I attended kindergarten when I was younger, and have had the opportunity to work alongside teachers who taught me! That in itself is special to me and shows that Ashburton Kindergartens have a great sense of community- my son will be coming to kindergarten too. I love that children are the heart and soul of all we do, I believe this shows in our environments and relationships between kaiako, tamariki and whānau.

Outside of work you’ll find me spending time with friends and family! I enjoy reading a good book, a walk in the sun and iced coffee!

Bridget

The non-profit nature of a kindergarten education is what I firmly believe all children in New Zealand should receive. I started as a reliever for AKA, and I could feel in each one that children are truly at the heart of kindergartens.

Outside of work I can be found in the garden, out in nature with my family or doing something crafty. I go to pottery classes and dabble in lots of other artistic mediums.
