Angela
Allenton Kindergarten is a place where my heart is. I love our tamariki and their whānau/ aiga. Families are warmly welcomed and I love that we become part of your whakapapa.
My favourite thing in the whole world is beach combing with my dog. We find beautiful and unique items for our science area at kindergarten and using these up hold kaitiakitanga at kindergarten.

Kindergarten is special to me because it’s one of the first places where a child’s world truly begins to open up. It’s where they start exploring the wider world around them, and where tamariki can form their first friendships with one another. It’s a place where learning, belonging, and exploration blend together, helping shape their sense of identity and how they see themselves within their community and the world.
My favourite place to travel is Europe – every country feels like a new story. My dream trip is to see the Northern Lights in Iceland or Norway, standing under a sky that glows and moves like magic. I’m also drawn to Scotland with its wild highlands and ancient castles, and Ireland with its green landscapes, music, and warm, welcoming feel. Europe just keeps calling me back.

Kindergarten offers a high quality service for all families within the community. I love that the tamariki and their whānau contribute to the distinctive character of each kindergartens local curriculum.
My favourite destination would be anywhere warm, with a balance of lots to do and time to relax. If my family and friends are close by, that is my happy place.

I enjoy working with a professional team of teachers and knowing you are making a difference in the lives of tamariki and whānau, it is a very rewarding profession to be involved in.
I love to spend time in nature photographing birds, wildlife and landscapes, which I then use as inspiration for my paintings.

Community base that wraps around children and whānau. A real sense of Whanaungatanga and Kotahitanga.
Mainly I’m all about spending time with my whānau especially my Moko. I also like to go out for rides on my motorcycle, garden, and hang out with my dog.
